About Vattora
Is Vattora an accredited service provider (ASP)?
No. Vattora is connector software: it prepares and checks each e-invoice, then hands it to your ASP, which exchanges it over Peppol and reports it to the Federal Tax Authority.
We don't have an ASP yet. Can you help?
Yes. With the "Connect + ASP" plan we help you choose an accredited provider from the Ministry's published list, arrange onboarding and connect your system. The ASP provides the e-invoicing service under its own terms.
Do we have to change our accounting system?
No. Keep invoicing as you do now; Vattora reads each posted invoice and does the rest.
Which ASPs do you work with?
The accredited provider you choose. Each link is built on that provider's API and tested in its test environment before your first real invoice; if not built yet, we build it at no charge.
How much does it cost?
It depends on your system. After the free readiness check you get one fixed installation price in writing, before any work starts.
Where is our data kept?
Vattora runs in the UAE, on Oracle Cloud's Dubai region. Passwords and keys are entered by you through a one-time secure link and stored encrypted.
Plans and prices
Why no prices on the site?
The work depends on your system: cloud app, desktop program or on-premises ERP. After the readiness check you get one fixed installation price in writing.
Who provides the e-invoicing service in "Connect + ASP"?
The accredited provider you choose with us, under its own terms. Vattora arranges onboarding and connects your system to it.
Can we switch ASP later?
Yes. Your connection to Vattora stays; we point it to the new provider and test it before the switch.
What about invoices our suppliers send us?
They reach you through your own accredited service provider.
The law
Does e-invoicing apply if we are not registered for VAT?
The Ministry's decision applies to any person conducting business in the UAE, with few exclusions, so VAT registration alone does not decide it. Check with the Ministry of Finance or your tax adviser.
Does the buyer need an ASP too?
Yes. The decision asks both the issuer and the recipient to appoint an accredited service provider.
Is a PDF still enough?
No. The e-invoice is structured PINT AE data exchanged through accredited service providers; a PDF can still go to your customer alongside it.
What is excluded?
B2C transactions, until the Minister decides otherwise (Ministerial Decision 244 of 2025, Article 5(2)). Others include sovereign government activities, some airline passenger and cargo services, and VAT-exempt or zero-rated financial services (Ministerial Decision 243 of 2025, Article 4).
For your IT team
What does our IT team have to do?
Depending on the system: install the small agent, give a read-only database login, or approve the cloud connection. About an hour, with our help.
Does the agent open a port on our network?
No. Nothing on the internet or other PCs can connect to it. It calls out to Vattora over HTTPS and reads your system inside your network; Tally needs its own data port switched on.
What happens when an invoice is rejected?
We tell you the reason in one sentence and who fixes it. Once it is fixed in your system, it is sent again.
